Car Accident

Another car dream. . . .

I had a dream
that I was in the passenger side
of a car,
someone else was driving.
(that's the second time recently
that I've had a dream
where someone else
was driving the car.)

We were going down a street
that I can only describe
as a town square.
We were just passing
a quaint city hall.
There was only one lane going in either direction,
with a center left turn lane.

It was a nice fall day,
beautiful colors and a decent temperature.

Suddenly,
the car in front of us
started to move toward the center lane.
There was an elderly lady driving.
And then,
she just did a total about face.
It was almost as if
she was sliding on ice,
but only there was no ice.

Her car was totally facing
the opposite direction
and she was in the center lane,
moving backward toward the other lane.

There was a car coming
from the opposite direction.
There were two young men in that car.
They tried to avoid hitting that car
so they ended up driving on the side walk.
But there was a railing to one of the buildings
and there car went right into it.
Then, there car just flipped right over.
One of the young men fell out of the car
at that point.
He seemed to very seriously injured.

The person who was driving the car I was in
went into a total shock
at seeing the young man
fall from the car.
He managed to stop our car,
but ran into one of the buildings
on our side of the road,
not wanting to see the young man who was hurt.

When the police came
I told them everything I saw.
After the ambulance took the young men away,
I went into the building
to get the person who was driving our car.
(I'm not sure who it was,
but I think it was a relative or close friend.)
He did not want to drive the car home.
He didn't even want to leave the building.
He would only leave if he could close his eyes
so as not to see.
I had to guide him to the car
as though he were blind.
He kept his eyes closed
until we were totally out of that area.

What does this mean?
Who was driving my car
and why was I on the passenger side again?
Why was there an accident?
Why did I witness the accident?
Who was the old lady who caused the accident?
And why was her car going backwards?
Who was the young man that fell from the car?
Why did the person with me
need to close there eyes?

Polar Bears

Wow!
Has it been that long
since I've last posted something?

Last night,
I had dream
that we were coming home
from I don't know where.
We were driving down
Jefferson Avenue.

But Jefferson was flooded.
I didn't want M. to drive through
thinking that the car would sink.
But he drove through anyway.

There was a huge polar bear
just off to the right.
It was so huge
that I thought it had to be
a mechanical bear,
that the water
was part of some sort of festival or something.
The polar bear
was large enough
to swallow the car whole.

And then,
I saw another polar bear
come up from underneath the water.
Only his head popped out of the water.
This one was also to the right of the car
but much closer.

Finally,
we reached a place
where the water over the road
was much more shallow.
He parked the car
and we proceeded on foot.
There were three of us
in the car.

Many of the people
were flooded out of their apartments.
They were sitting in lawnchairs
just in front of their homes.
The apartments were very, very small,
just one room homes.

The electricity was off
because there was just so much water.

Finally,
we came upon a place
where we could rest
after walking such a great distance.
The electricity was still off
in this place
but there were pillows and blankets
and chairs
for us to rest a bit.
The only lights that worked
were battery operated.

It turned out
that this was actually someone's apartment,
but he let us rest there for awhile.

No one ever knew why there was so much water
or where the polar bears came from.

Another House Dream

Last night
I had a dream that I was taking a walk.
I was walking
in the city where I used to live.
I happened to pass the house
that I sold about five years ago.
The people who bought the house
had lost it to a foreclosure.

It just so happened that
a real estate agent
was showing the house
to someone as I was passing by.
As the person left
I asked the real estate agent
if I could have a look at the house.
He was glad to show me in.

The house had a camper in the living room.
He explained that
that was because the previous owner's family
needed more bedrooms.
The camper was their son's bedroom.
He said the daughter had her room in the basement.
I told him that I was the previous owner of the house
and I knew that the house had no basement,
just a crawl space.
He then opened a trap door
and led me down the stairs to the basement.
It was a finished basement,
only the area that was bedroom was finished.

We then went back upstairs
and I noticed that the furnace
was not only in a different place,
there were two furnaces.
He said that it was to heat the other camper.
He then opened a door
that led into another camper.
It was annexed to the house,
but not visible from the outside.
I couldn't figure that out. . .
It was like a hidden room.
The second furnace was to heat this
camper, this hidden room.

He said the house was selling for $40,000.00
I asked if that was for a 30 year mortgage.
That just didn't seem right to me.
The monthly payments would be so small.
I seriously considered re-buying the house.

So many dreams about hidden rooms. . .
What does a hidden room mean?
A hidden basement?
And why would I dream about a house
I sold several years ago?
What does $40,000 mean?
Is it a symbolic amount?
And 30 years?....

Ghostly Door

This dream is short,
but pretty impressive.
At least,
I woke up
not sure if it was real
or just a dream.

I had a dream
that one of the doors in my home
was being open and shut
by a ghost.

All I would need to do
is point at the door
and it would open or close.
I told my pastor about this
and he didn't believe me.
So,
I invited him over to the house
to witness it for himself.

When he got to the house
I showed him the door in question.
I told him
that all I need to do was point to the door
and it would open or close.
At the moment,
that door was open.

And as I was telling him this,
I pointed at the door,
not realizing I was doing so,
but just trying to explain to him
how it happens.

In that instant,
the door closed,
there was a poof of smoke
and sparks flying everywhere.

He thought I was playing a joke on him.
But then
when I kept doing it
and he tried to see
if there were any gadgets in place
to make to make it open and close
he realized that I was telling the truth.

So, what does this mean?
What does the door symbolize?
And the smoke and sparks?

Car Crash

It's been a while
since I've posted anything to this blog.
To be quite honest,
I've been VERY busy
and I really haven't had many dreams
worth noting. . .
.. .until now.

I had dream
that I was taking my son to school.
For whatever reason,
we weren't going by our usual route.

When we got to certain corner
I noticed it was very icy
so I slowed down.
Then, out of nowhere,
a car hit us.

At first I thought it was a Navigator,
but it turned out to be van.

My son and I actually switched places
with the impact.
I was now on the passenger side
and was on the driver side.
Only I was mostly on the floor
of the passenger side.
I was half conscious
when he walked over to the other car
to exchange information.

He came back with $40 in his hand
and said that they asked for us
not to call police.
I immediately got myself together
to review damage to my car.
It wasn't a lot, mostly just paint work.
But I knew it was going to cost
way more than $40.

I told my son to write down the plate number
of the other car
and jot down details,
color of car,
make of car, etc.
He called police from his cell phone.

When the police got there,
I felt like something wasn't quite right.
It told the policeman,
"I don't know,
maybe you can call it a mother's instinct
or maybe I got a bump on the head,
but something isn't right
with the children in that car."
I asked him
to ask the children in the other car
to step out,
to see if they were all O.K.

Suddenly,
a gazillion kids got out of the van.
Too many to be driving safely with.
One child barely had any clothes on.
I told my son to give her his shirt.

In my dream
I thought to myself,
"Everything happens for a reason."
My car got a little damage to it,
but the greater good
was that these children
were being saved
from some abusive situation.

The Big New House

Last night,
I had a dream that we were moving
into a bigger, newer house.

I think the mortgage company
gave it to us,
or traded it with the house
we now live in.
I don't know exactly,
but I do know
that it didn't cost us anything.
Sort of like,
they rewarded us
with a nicer house.

At first,
I didn't want to go see the house.
But some of the family went
and told me
that I was going to love it.
There was fountain
just inside the front door.

When I finally went to see the house
I really loved it!
There was a fountain
just in the main entrance.
Beyond the waters,
one could see the kitchen.

I decided that my Guadalupe statue
would go in the fountain area,
as well as some of my other
religious statues.

Once we walked in
we could see just how large it all was.
The kitchen had a dining room area attached.
From the dining room
there was bedroom.
And a second bedroom was beyond that first bedroom.
I thought that this wouuld be a perfect space
for my sons.

And then we went to the second floor,
where there were more rooms.
And then I saw a series of stairs,
each ascending to different levels.
Only, the lower portion of the stairs
was really those chain ladders.
One would need to go up a flight of chain stairs
to actually make it to the next level of stairs.
There were are least three different sets
of these chain ladders.
I thought to myself,
"I'll never go up those chain steps."

And then it occured to me
that this was just too much house.
How would we pay for utility bills?
How would we keep it clean?

We decided to take in borders.
One person would live with us
and clean the whole place as their rent.

Another person came to live us
who lived in one of the upper levels,
which was actually a green house.
That person's job was
to be caretaker of the green house,
which was his rent.

Others came
who actually paid us rent money.

I eventually had all of those chain ladders
replaced with an actual staircase.
The lower portion of the staircase
was wide enough to take in
all sets of stairs,
each going to another level.

Now it was easier
to go up and down
from the various levels of the house.

The Little Light House

I had a dream
of what I can only describe
as a little light house.
Only,
it wasn't really a lighthouse.
It was just a tall building,
not quite as high as a lighthouse,
but one you had to go up many stairs.

It was made of stone.
It was clearly an ancient building.
No one knew who built it
nor why it was there
in the middle of the city.
It was just an old,
yet solid, ediface.

All of the neighborhood children
were constantly trying to get in,
to climb up to the top.
It was hard to get in
as the door was very tricky.
And once inside,
it was very hard to climb to the top
as the stairs were very, very steep.
One literally had to climb
with hands and feet
to get to the top.

And the room at the top was small.
And there was another little room, there, too.
But it had no door.
There was just a small window
that led to this other room.
One would have to climb through the window
to get into this other room.
That was the one and only way to enter
that other room.

I worked at a store
that was near this little light house.
Another store in the area
was holding some sort of raffle.
I don't remember the prize amount,
but it was a lot of money.
A co-worker of mine
asked if I wanted to go in
and buy raffle tickets.
The plan was
to form a group of people,
a club,
who would each buy raffle tickets.
If any one of us won
we would split the winnings with each other.
I agreed.
But they were going to stop selling tickets soon
so I had to buy my tickets right away.

Since I had to go to church after work
I decided to change my clothes
and then get in line to buy my tickets.
That way,
I could go right to church already dressed.

But there was no place to change.
So I decided to go into the little light house.
Once inside I went up those very steep stairs.
Once at the top
I head noises.
It was a bunch of kids
who were trying to pry the door open
and get into the little light house.
I decided to go into the little room
through the window,
just in case the kids got in
they wouldn't catch me in a state
of partial undress.

I managed to change my clothes
and those kids never got in.

And then I realized
that the little room
was very little after all.

In fact,
it was huge.
I don't know what magic was used
to build this Little Light House,
but that room that was apparently smaller
was secretly
a very large area.
It was like
there was a secret magic that happened
if you could manage to make your way
through that little window.

I left the little light house
and got in line to buy my raffle tickets.
Apparently,
many folks decided to form
these little raffle clubs.

It took nearly forever,
but I got my tickets
and made it to church on time.

Later,
I learned that our raffle club had won.
I took my share of the winnings
and purchased the little light house
from the city.
I changed the door
so that those people
who were always trying to get in
would realize
that the Light House
was off limits them.
I own The Little Magic Light House now
and you can only get in
if I let you in.

What does a Lighthouse sybmolize?
Why was the door so tricky to open?
What is the window?
What is the magic of the other room??

Eagles and Rams

embroidered eagle Pictures, Images and Photos
It's been a while since I've posted to this blog,
but this dream,
I think,
is worth the wait!

In my dream
we (there were two of us)
were returning to the car
after shopping.
I was sitting on the passenger side.

All of a sudden,
I heard a sound
that I had never heard before.
I knew it was a bird.
And then in an instant
I realized that was the sound of eagles.

Suddenly an eagle flew over the car
and then just sat down
right next to the car
on the passenger side,
very close to the car.
It was beautiful!
I was looking at at him
and he was looking right at me,
each of us sort of in wonder of the other.

Then there were many eagles flying over the car
and they started to congregate
on the driver side of the car.
I commented on how
I wish I had my camera.

All of a sudden one tried to get into the car
via the window in the back seat.
We decided it was time to leave
before one actually got into the car.

We slowly started to drive away
and the eagles followed us flying over us.
I saw that some feathers
and flew up on to the dashboard
and I was happy
to have some little memento of the eagle's visit.

As we neared the express way
we saw a ram walking up the ramp.
Suddenly,
we saw several more rams
all making their way on to the expressway.
There was another animal with them,
a much smaller one
but I couldn't make out
what sort of animal it was.

We thought that maybe
they had escaped from a zoo,
but the nearest zoo
was more than ten miles away.
Or maybe they were part
of some sort of museum special exhibit.
But the closest museum
is Greenfield village
and rams didn't seem like an animal
the Village would bring in.
Cows, farm animals, maybe. . .
but not rams.
We couldn't figure out
where the rams could have come from.

And then I realized
that an eagle had actually gotten into the car.
It was injured and was sitting in the rear window.
We opened all of the windows
in the hopes that it would make it's way out of the car.

A woman
in another car
started to beep
as she noticed the eagle in the car.
We shouted back to her
that we knew the eagle was there.
She hollered for us
to turn on our flashers
and so we did.

Suddenly,
there was a little boy in the car with us.
He was in the back seat.
I don't know who he was
but I knew that he was five years old.
I told him
to try and shew the eagle out of the window.
In doing so,
he was half way out of the window himself.
The eagle made it's way out,
but his claws held firm to the window.
The eagle refused to leave the car.
I pulled the child back into the car.
But the eagle never left the car.
It's almost as if
he wanted to be with us,
to stay with us.

Once we got home,
we left all of the car doors open
hoping the eagle would find his way out.

All of a sudden
all of those eagles that had been following us
swooped down toward the car.
The seemed totally oblivious to us
at this point.
It seemed like
the eagles were only concerned
about their friend.

A couple of the eagles
pulled their friend from the car.
And between three of them
they carried him off.

With that,
all of the eagles flew away.

What do Eagles represent?
And rams?
Who was the woman who saw the eagle?
Why did the eagles come to us, follow us?
Why did the one particular eagle
want to stay with us?
And where did the little boy come from?
What do all of these symbols mean???
